Govt rolls out Krishi Vigyan Kendra portal for monitoring of farm centres

• Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh today launched an online portal designed to monitor functioning of nearly 645 Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs),
• It is known as farm-science centres and It have a mandate to assess agri-technology and demonstrate to farmers application and capacity development, are being set up in rural districts
• The KVK portal will provide advisory service to farmers, information related to all schemes, market development and weather updates. 
• This portal will also provide on-line monitoring of KVKs
